Today we got all the last minute preparations for "IKE"s big debut. He's rolling into Galveston as I type and its already not pretty. But we are hunkering down or "honkering" down as I say and ready for him. Chris bought us a generator so we will have power when ours go out, which is inevitiable. Anyways, we boarded the windows the best we could since there was no lumber ANYWHERE and I stocked up on water and food. Those sustained winds are going to be killer, but we are all piled in our room and ready for whatever Ike brings.....
